How Do You Choose a Commercial Photographer?

Selecting the right photographer is important. There are two criteria that trump all others. The photographer you select must be capable, technically and stylistically, of creating an image that you will appreciate. For this you look carefully at the photographer's portfolio and make sure you like his or her style or that they are versatile enough to replicate the style you want. Second, you must be confident that the photographer can deliver. How extensive is the photographer's history? Have they done shoots on the scale you are looking at? Do they have access to the necessary crews? Do they have the financial ability to execute the project?
